Beyma CD-320Fe/Ti: 2" compression driver with 3" titanium diaphragm from 500 Hz
The Beyma CD-320Fe/Ti is the 2" representative of the CD series: a ferrite motor with a BL of 9.5 Tm drives a 3" voice coil beneath a titanium diaphragm, and the exit measures 2". That allows a working range from 500 Hz to 18,000 Hz, a lower bottom limit than the 1.4" models in exchange for a slightly lower top limit. Power handling is 90 W AES at 8 Ω.
The larger throat is the real message: a 2" exit limits the treble more than a 1.4" exit does, because the longer phase-plug path and the larger throat area encourage interference at the top, but it provides more area for the transition to the woofer. That is why the CD-320Fe/Ti sits in systems that start the HF section low. At 5.8 kg and 97 mm mounting depth it is a hefty unit; the lighter neodymium alternative is the CD-320Nd/Ti, also available at 42.audio.
Use and enclosure
Large two-way cabinets with a 12" or bigger woofer in fixed installation, cinema and club systems, anywhere the driver is expected to work far down into the midrange: that is the domain of the CD-320Fe/Ti. It belongs on a 2" horn; Beyma offers horns and waveguides for it in its own category, and across brands the 18SOUND XR2064C with a 2" throat fits. Cross well above 500 Hz with a steep high-pass; the horn's loading frequency decides the rest.
The 18,000 Hz upper limit is fine for PA and cinema; if you need the last bit of treble for a three-way system, add a smaller driver above it. At 5.8 kg and 97 mm mounting depth, the cabinet must cope structurally with driver and horn, especially in flown systems. Passive crossovers are easy to design thanks to the 8 Ω; active via DSP with a limiter is the standard in fixed installations.

Why a 2" driver instead of a 1.4" driver?
Because the 2" exit allows the working range to extend down to 500 Hz and gives more reserve in the transition to the woofer. The price is the upper limit of 18,000 Hz, compared with 20,000 Hz for the 1.4" CD-314Fe/Ti. For two-way systems with a low crossover, that is a good trade.
