Beyma 6CMV2: compact 6" midrange with 94 dB and 220 W AES
A 6" midrange driver for small boxes with serious power handling: the Beyma 6CMV2 from the CMV series handles 220 W AES, reaches 94 dB sensitivity and works from 95 to 8,000 Hz. The 1.5" voice coil and a mounting depth of only 80 mm make it a driver for column speakers, small monitors and midrange chambers where space is tight.
The parameters are clearly aimed at midrange duty: Fs 90 Hz, Qts 0.34 and an EBP of 200. The cone weighs 13 g on 140 cm² of area, and the motor with a BL of 9.4 Tm gives a Qes of 0.45.
